Tofield’s Busy B is a wonderful place.
We’ve been invited to their volunteer appreciation luncheon to receive a cheque towards the Big Picture Theatre Foundation twice now.
You wouldn’t believe the number of people and organizations helped out by these hardworking volunteers. Yvonne, Debby and the gang try their best to not only run a super-fun thrift store, but their reach extends far beyond that. Organizations all over western Canada benefit from their work, and Haiti has a lot to be thankful for because of these folks as well.
With covid making it tough to hold awards dinners, I got a call from board member Scott out of the blue. Seems they haven’t forgotten us, and we’re more than pleased to accept a donation from Busy B again for the 2020-21 season.
Thank you so much Busy B! This will go a long way towards our end-of-year garden party on June 26th!
